In a very positive move, the IRS announced this week that it will treat breast pumps and breast feeding supplies as reimbursable items for health care spending accounts and may be deductible as well. For all our allergy patients, it looks like Allegra will be going OTC (over the counter) soon. Good news for easy access, bad news possibly for people whose insurance was previously paying for it.
